Can I access my domain address with or without the "www"?

Yes, you will be able to access your domain address with or without the "www" in front of the domain name. When a prospective visitor types in their browser "http://www.yourdomain.com" or "http://yourdomain.com" they'll be taken to the front page of your site.

Can I have subdomains in my account?

Yes. Subdomains (ie suddomain.yourdomain.com) can be created from the control panel.

Can I upgrade my account in the future?

Yes, you can upgrade your account at any time. The cost is simply the price difference between the two plans. There are no other fees for upgrade.

Can you register domain names for me?

Yes, we register domains for you. When you choose a hosting account then just choose domain registration during the signup process or contact sales@xhostindia.com.

Do you allow adult, warez or other illicit sites or content?

No. Please see our Terms of Service for permissible content.

Do you host international domains?

Yes. We can host international domains from any country of origin.

How do I know how much bandwidth I need ?

You can figure out how much data transfer you will require by estimating following for your site

    * Number of visitor per month
    * Average Number of pages viewed by per visitor
    * Average pager size - Including text and graphic images

For example suppose you are expecting 100,000 visitors per month and average page size of each page on your site is 10K and you are expecting each visitor to visit 5 pages of your site then you will be transferring an average of 5 GB (100,000 X 10K X 5) per month. In this case you should plan for about 6 GB per month. If you are expecting visitors to download software/songs/images ect. from you site then you need to do the same calculation for download data and add that to total data transfer require. 1,024 bytes are equal to 1 kilobyte (KB) 1,024 kilobytes (KB) are equal to 1 megabyte (MB or Meg) 1,024 megabytes are equal to 1 gigabyte (GB or Gig)

How do I point my domain to my new hosting account?

To point your domain name to your new Xhostindia.com hosting account, you must modify the domain's nameserver information (DNS). This can be done by the registrar where your domain was registered. Visit your registrar's web site and just follow the directions provided there. If you need help completing this task, open a Support ticket and we'll assist you with the process.

How long will it take until my domain points to my new account?

Once you submit the necessary DNS changes to your domain name registrar, it takes 24 to 48 hours until the changes propagate and your domain is pointed to your new hosting account.

How soon will my account be set up and ready to use?

Your account will be setup within 24 hours once your payment has been cleared. You will receive an email with your account information, IP address, user name and password. You can then start uploading your site.

I do not own a domain. Where can I register one?

I want to get started but my domain name hasn't transferred yet. What do I do?

You can start uploading your page(s) immediately by pointing your FTP client to the IP address you were assigned when you opened your account. After your domain is fully propagated, you can upload to ftp.yourdomain.com. Detailed instructions are included in the account activation email you received.

Is my access to my cPanel account 24 hours a day?

Yes. You will have access to your accounts 24 hours a day. They are always available and if you ever have issues reaching them, contact support immediately.

Is there a minimum time contract/commitment?

The minimum duration is three months. However, you are covered by our 30-day money back guarantee. If for any reason you not satisfied with our services in the first 30 days of signing up for your account, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

My site is ready. How do I get traffic ?

What are the DNS nameservers that I should use?

The DNS (nameserver) information for your account was included in the Welcome Email you received when you signed up.
